This collection fills you with nostalgia, with the British brand’s classic vintage style is taking us through the generations. It’s on full display with the classic party dresses featuring a sweet peter pan collar, elastic puff sleeves and empire tie waist with AUDREY and MARTHA. There’s a beautiful 80’s inspired JESSICA with a boatneck and cap sleeves and probably my favorite, the 70’s inspired MARY, with it’s flared sleeves and front pockets. The dresses and tops all share a common thread with their full volume and intricate details. For girls that like a twirl, these silhouettes get it. There’s special attention to detail through their finishes, with piping, ladder stitch and crochet trims. Their BLOUSES paired with a BLOOMER is one of my favorite summer styles. As always, cotton is the star, with lots of cotton poplin and fine cotton voile. They take mind to line some of the cotton styles and note it in the descriptions. The colors are mostly muted and don’t overpower with small florals, rich linens and a crisp white, along with a bold check in navy and mulberry.
