Important to note that with SS20, Mainio is moving closer to 100% organic. We previewed the collection last summer and really loved the new undyed organic cotton, in a perfect creamy white. The whole collection has a cool vintage vibe with both the colors and styles used, standouts are the geometric shapes in both the TULIP and RAINBOW prints. My son loves books with grumpy animals as the antagonist and I’m guessing kids will really like this season’s APE and TURTLE with their playful expressions. There’s also lots of thoughtful and functional details your kids will love, like pockets with divided spaces for things like sticks and rocks.

‘ARE WE THERE YET?’
“What are road trips made of? A feeling of excitement and curiosity. No hurry and no schedule. Mainio’s spring/summer collection is a journey full of leisure, surrounded by the tingling expectation of a fabulous adventure… Are we there yet? “
“Are We There Yet?” features trendy and contemporary looks, but will send 70s kids for a nostalgic stroll down memory lane. “Are We There Yet?” is mostly unisex and aimed for kids aged 0-10 years. The collection consists of spring and summer essentials, such as T-shirts and shorts, playsuits, dresses, pants and hoodies. The collection is composed of muted tones, floral patterns, bold stripes, signature geometrical patterns and quirky animal prints. The collection also offers solid color clothes for easy mixing and matching. Organically farmed, GOTS-certified cotton jersey is the building block of Mainio´s collections. “Are We There Yet?” collection introduces a new interesting material: undyed organic cotton slub.
