We’ve had so many parents (full disclosure; they’re mostly Mamas, where you at Dads?) sending us their thoughts on favorite brands, how they fit, how they wear, the pieces they love the most, all the good stuff we want to know. We’ve discovered so many cool brands from passionate Mamas and can’t wait to pass the knowledge on.
Wondering how we get our reviews?
When we started this, we wanted lots of opinions, so we sent out surveys to Mamas whose style we liked and who we thought would give us good feedback. It helped sort out what brands we needed more info on and then we started testing, and testing, and testing. Basically, we get a few pieces from a brand, take notes on important things like finish, quality, feel, sizing and how it comes packaged and then just start having our kids wear it. After a few months, we give each other honest reviews about the pieces. The most important questions we ask are how it wears and if you’d buy it again.
As word got out, our community of Mamas has grown. We now have dozens and dozens of Meer Mamas from all over the world, and all over the US, sending in surveys of their favorites and joining our tester groups. It’s pretty awesome and it’s only just beginning.
We are dedicated to finding and telling you about the best kids brands and items on the market. We’ve started adding our first reviews and will continue to add more. Some reviews will be full overviews of a brand and some are will just be about specific items. We also don’t necessarily stop once a brand has been reviewed. We’ll update reviews, add new info and make sure we’re always reconsidering as a brand makes changes and grows.
