Misha and Puff's Last Collection of the Year Goes With Everything
It’s as if the foliage space dye is a mixture of all the yarns used in fall 2019, which it probably is. The mix is done so well no one color stands out and they all blend quite happily together. These pieces are particularly special and will probably go within minutes. The good news is that if you’re lucky enough to get one of these pieces, it will go with anything else you have from not only this season, but many past too. There’s the usual popcorn sweater ($158), cardigan and skating pond (both $138) of course, plus the sledding scarf we’ve been seeing everywhere and a new favorite, the popcorn beret (between $48-$58). They’ve styled a lot of the items on boys too and you really can see this launch is unisex.
It’s worth noting, this will be the first launch Misha & Puff has initiated a new system to try and prevent people from overbuying just to resell and from produce overselling. Their launches are usually so high demand that popular knit items are sold out within minutes. Fans have grown frustrated to miss out and see the items show up on the secondary market for huge mark-ups soon after. It’s a growing pain companies with a cult following face, but the backlash after the last launch was particularly harsh towards the knitwear brand. They won’t be offering quick pay methods (after pay, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay) and will have order limits as part of the system they are implementing, kudos to them for trying. it will be interesting to see if it appeases some customers and allows more fans a chance to get a favorite this round.
Besides the knits, which are crazy good and probably be gone quickly, there’s a selection of pima cotton separates in a dark playground print and neutral mini stripe. I’m a sucker for a culotte, so that’s a personal favorite for me. Perfect for winter, with a thermal layer underneath and boots, the pants will go right over. As always, the non-knits are reasonably priced, starting at $36 for the legging up to $58 for the dress.
