The 4 Toddler Pants You'll Want to Buy Again
The go-to of your kids wardrobe, the pants you grab all the time, they’re so good you want them again when they’ve grown too small. We all have our favorites for any given size, then they grow out of them and we have new favorites. Every once in awhile though, a pant (or top) is so good that when it doesn’t fit anymore, you go ahead and buy the next size up. To reach that status it has to do more than look good, it has to go with almost anything, the fit has to be flexible with sizing and it has to wear really well, so it still looks great when you’re done with it. Not an easy fete for something that gets a lot of wear. So we’ve whittled our list down to just a few pairs we’ll buy many times through the toddler years. We’ll add more I’m sure, but these are the clear winners today.
THE TROUSER PANT
A bit of a thicker pant in organic cotton and pockets make it more substantial. The narrow ankle and cut make this pant work for a long stretch without looking either too big or too small. We loved the easy to pair green color, but it comes in new colors every season and is a brand best seller that will actually take us past toddler years. 6m-12y

The Legging Pant
This one has a narrow leg, drop crotch, pockets and organic cotton. The waist is soft elastic that won’t sag if you wear early and won’t dig in as they grow. They’re long enough to last for an extended time and by the end they fit more like a legging. Although we’re a sucker for a stripe, they also have these in solid earthy tones each season. 0m-5y

THE EASY PANT
This one is sort of a no-brainer for organic cotton at this price. Made with soft brushed organic jersey, the super easy to wear style takes your little one from birth (either with or without footies) through 3 years. They do stain easy, but as long as you treat before washing, they wear well. The honey color proves a perfect neutral, but all the solid colors are great. 0m-3y

THE OVERSIZED HAREM
The balloon leg shape is balanced by a nipped in ankle. The breezy cotton gauze makes it a light pant we found ourselves wearing all summer.
