The New Society FW20
FALL/WINTER 2020
COLLECTION
It’s appropriate to call The New Society FW20 collection timeless. There’s a sophistication and vintage vibe coming through from the Victorian era to the 80’s. Ruffled high neck collars, embroidery and lace details, Cropped pant legs, retro prints and and styles. The Olivia blouse is so perfect, with a blousy fit and high tie neck so you can wear it open or closed. If you get the feeling of “I wish this came in my size”, you might be in luck, there’s a note on a bunch of styles that size 16y is the equivalent to an adult small. They also included a line of basics in this collection, from simpler tees and leggings to cool branded tracksuits in organic cotton for both baby and kids.
Fabrics include organic cotton, organic cotton muslin, 100% cotton Liberty, 100% cotton, cotton voile, 50% cotton/50% recycled polyester and other blends. The predominant fabric used in the collection is 100% organic cotton & organic muslin. Most of the coats are either polyester or polyamide. Knits are mostly blends, with either cotton, mohair or wool and acrylic fibers.

‘Back to the Origins’
“Refers to the beginning, irruption, emergence or motive of something.”
This collection has been created to be a reflection on how the world and society are changing, a claim to stop and think, to focus on the truly important things, to investigate other ways of doing, to use your hands and return to traditions, to understand what are we doing wrong, to try to repair all the mistakes we have made and create a better world for future generations.
“All the things I feel, love and do are the same kind of things I used to feel, love and do.
In order to be able to push the world forward, I first need to go back to the origins.”
Back to the Origins means that it is the origin of things that matters and that gives meaning to everything.
