A Summer Well Spent at the Sea With Bobo Choses
Bobo Choses spring summer 2023 collection, Living in a Shell, is inspired by the kids that don’t take a shine to the spotlight. Those who prefer the quiet of the sea, instead of the city. “The collection is an oda for those shy, sensitive, and creative minds who love living in the imagination,” says Bobo Choses.
We love the sentiment, but with bold cobalt, red and yellow and their signature playful prints, your little ocean lovers will certainly stand out wearing this maximalist celebration of the sea. You’ll really appreciate how the spring palette balances soft, natural and vivid colors to create pieces that easily mix and match and can go with everything.
Their sea side inspiration is woven through this seasons fun prints, most notably with color blocked sail boats, fish, sea stars and calming ocean waves. Those who love their characters won’t be disappointed with the introduction of Mr. Birdie, a long necked Pelican and a happy little hermit crab. There’s also plenty for those who enjoy the more subtle side of Bobo Choses with stripes, abstract shapes, floral and their classic logo.
The unisex styles cover over 300 items this season from 3 months to 13 years. Tees and tanks layer nicely with sweatshirts and compliment the more simply styled shorts and pants. Playful jumpsuits and cotton dresses are the one and done easy summer staples. For those looking for a head to toe Bobo Choses look, there’s socks, hats, headbands and matching bags a plenty!
More than 50% of the spring collection is made with organic cotton. There’s also a good mix of linen and recycled fabrics. On average 90-95% of the pieces are made locally in Spain in Portugal, although they didn’t release the exact numbers this season. All of their factories they work with are Oeko-Tex certified. www.bobochoses.com
