Craftsmanship with care for the environment and cozy fits. FUB knitwear is made without any harmful chemicals and a low impact dye process. They focus on durable materials and high quality finishes to last through many seasons. They use all natural materials, including GOTS certified organic cotton, RWS certified and non-mulesed merino wool and pure lambswool. Both yarns are OEKO-TEX® certified and all garments are free from harmful chemicals. They’ve worked with the same factory in China since 2006, where all collections are produced. Their factory follows a Code of Conduct that specifies the conditions for the factory workers and certifies their legal rights as well as their health and safety.
Since their collections are all knitwear and they use the same yarns seasonally, they are able to achieve limited waste production. They limit overstock by producing only to order and keeping their core colors and styles consistent. Although they do pack individual items in polybags for shipping, the bags are biodegradable. They use FSC certified eco paper to print marketing materials. FUB answered all our questions about company practices and were easy to reach for follow up.
