With an emphasis on supporting traditional handicrafts and maximizing wear time, they find a perfect balance with beautiful nostalgic designs made from durable materials and quality construction. They use all natural materials, including 100% cotton, organic cotton, linen and Khadi cloth. The materials are sourced in India from local artisans. All their dyes are non-toxic, azo-free and they don’t use heavy metals in processing. The materials receive secondary testing in the UK to ensure they comply with EU standards. The small family factory they work with is C-TPAT compliant and Sedex approved and prioritizes worker rights and safety. One of the factory owners is a long time personal friend of theirs and they visit the factory regularly.

They minimize wastage by using one factory and cutting extra quantities of popular styles with leftover materials. Larger fabric scraps are used to make small accessories and smaller scraps are used for patchwork pieces. Imperfect pieces are donated to local families. For shipping materials they use recycled kraft paper and biodegradable protective bags. All of their hang tags and promotional materials are made with recycled paper.
