This small brand has a slow fashion approach with a focus on their environmental impact, creating bespoke knits with consideration for the end life of the knitwear. They use all natural materials, a 100% untreated wool that is fully biodegradable and non-mulesed. All of their wool is sourced, spun and produced locally in Sweden, lowering their carbon footprint. The wool yarn is hand dyed with non-toxic mineral based dyes, mostly GOTS approved and provided by a local supplier appointed environmentalists by the municipality.
Leftover yarn bits are used to make smaller items like doll sweaters and used in wrapping. Since most items are made to order, they aim for a zero waste supply on demand system. For shipping materials they use recycled paper and tissue paper and hangtags are made with recycled paper. Fluffwear answered all our questions about company practices and were easy to reach for follow up.
