This conscious brand prioritizes high quality in their pieces and a commitment to social responsibility. They also focus on worker rights and sustainable practices within production. They use all natural materials, including 100% cotton, BCI cotton and linen. Materials are sourced in their country of production and are no harmful dyes are used. Their factories adhere to the Ethical Trading Initiative that commits to fair treatment and wages for workers. Their main factory in India holds the ISO 14001 certificate for sustainability and is a member of the HIGG index, prioritizing environmental impact.
Fabric offcuts are donated to a local company in India that uses them to make sanitary products and blankets for families in need. Unsold product or samples are donated to Harmony House, a non-profit offering safe community centers for women and children. They also donate to charity monthly, including Show Racism the Red Card. For shipping materials they use cotton bags and paper that is recyclable. They do use individual poly bags for retailers on request. All of their hang tags and promotional materials are made with recycled paper. Little Cotton Clothes answered all our questions about company practices and were easy to reach for follow up.
