This brand is committed to supporting small independent factories and companies within the UK where they operate A-Z. They use all natural materials, including organic cotton and 100% cotton that is GOTS certified or Okeo-Tex certified. Fabrics are dyed with water based ink and are non-toxic. Most of production is done locally in the UK, where materials are also sourced and dyed, lowering their carbon footprint. Although factories aren’t certified they are well known to them and are visited often to ensure proper oversight.

Material overstock is used to make special edition bedding sets and smaller offcuts are used to make doll clothes. For shipping materials they use recycled paper mailers and recycled tissue paper and don’t print invoices. They also keep all lookbooks online only. Sleepy Doe answered all our questions about company practices and were easy to reach for follow up.
