Stella McCartney is Taking Us Over the Rainbow for Spring

As someone who is generally adverse to bright colors, even in swimsuits, this collection might be the one that wins me over. The OG of sustainability, Stella McCartney, has started the new year with her first spring release in the most fun and playful rainbow print. True to her colorful aesthetic, the rainbow doesn’t disappoint. Although it seems early to be talking swim and spring, it’s very likely this suit and matching slides will sell out by the time you start thinking about it.

It’s the details that really make this collection special. The rainbow & fringe one piece features one big ‘painted’ rainbow with the edges ending in a sweet fringe detail at the waist. We also love the rainbow swimsuit featuring smaller rainbow print with elasticized striped logo straps. For extra sun protection there’s a matching long sleeve rash guard available too. All the suits are UPSF50+ and are made from recycled nylon. The zipped pouch the suits come in can be reused for many purposes, including a good place to put a wet suit after a day at the beach. If you want to be really extra, there is a matching bucket hat, slides, shorts and even a tote.

Originally on pre-order only, most of the collection is now avail at Stella McCartney. You can also find everything but the rainbow slides at Childrensalon. Fawn Shoppe has the swimsuits and slides, but sold out of the Rainbow & Fringe Swimsuit the same day it became available. Will be more widely available at retailers worldwide soon.
