Organic 2-Way Zipper Rompers to Keep Your Baby Cozy

Ah, the elusive 2-way zipper romper. Why are these so hard to find? We’ve all been there, it’s the middle of the night and you’re trying to do a stealth diaper change without waking that sweet baby. Most sleep sacks and swaddles are made to open only at the bottom, with either a 2-way zipper, bottom snaps or a bottom tie. Why aren’t more newborn jammies made the same way?
I was a big fan of snap footies, I liked the way they looked, but they can pose a problem when you are sleep deprived and the lighting is dim. We’ve all put the baby back in the swaddle half snapped at one time or another. So I turned to the zip pajama but hated having to unzip under their chin and expose their chest during the night. The solution of course is a romper with a bottom zip, but until recently Parade Organics was one of the few brands making an organic 2-way zipper romper. L’oved Baby introduced their first zip footie this fall and updated the design this week, with the Reverse Zipper Jumpsuit. Kyte Baby also came out with a double zipper version of their popular footie just this past year.
