Soor Ploom FW20

FALL/WINTER 2020
COLLECTION

Another beautiful collection from Soor Ploom. At initial glance some of the prints and colors are more reminiscent of a summer palette than winter, but paired with rich cotton corduroy, muted knits, denim and just the right shade of knee high, it all works perfectly. While the usual generous silhouette dresses and pinafores are back in checks, Swiss dots, stripes and florals, and the classic sell out styles Oona and Agnes will surely do again in a lovely dusty rose, navy and moss, the new styles might be our favorites.

Our top picks are the Imelda Blouse, Imogen Overall and the pull on jeans. Imelda, with a loose fit, smocked neck and gathered sleeve in one of Soor Plooms best materials ever, the milk double gauze cotton, is just the most beautiful top. Imogen, a high waisted overall with a curved yoke, pleats and adjustable straps is a new year round closet staple. We have equal love for the Imogen in engineer stripe, a durable cotton canvas coming in drop I and the cotton corduroy in loam (burgundy), in drop II.

Fabrics include 100% cotton in twill, corduroy, canvas, double gauze, denim and a floral Liberty fabric, 100% linen, cotton/linen blend and 100% merino wool. Most of the collection is 100% cotton and made in Portugal. A few pieces are made in Brooklyn, NY and the merino wool pieces are made in Peru.

Our children are the inspiration behind our brand. We believe we can have a positive impact on their lives by teaching them to care about the clothing they wear and how it is made. We strive to cultivate an appreciation for quality over quantity, live in a world where less is more, and teach them that slow fashion is a more sustainable choice.
We make clothes that we hope you will cherish and pass down for generations to come.
