‘BE-KIND’
Five houses on the outskirts of the smallest capital in the world. A big grassland on the other side of the road. A group of kids. Outdoors. Every day. That was my childhood playground. But every once in a while, my friends and I would seek new adventures in the nearby woods– probably better described as a small cluster of trees on our otherwise treeless volcanic archipelago. But for us, it was a fairytale forest with the potential of a magical surprise behind every tree.
Forests still have that magic for me and are among my favourite places of inspira- tion. The kindness of trees, combined with my carefree childhood memories in the woods, has inspired our Spring | Summer 2021 Collection. It encapsulates purely natural qualities, exudes our love of nature and promises soft, timeless essentials.
The colours reflect small muddy feet and sparkling eyes after a day well spent under soft leaves of a tree. Earthly color tones range from amber brown to golden rooibos. Foam and blue pick up the colours seen through the leaves of the forest when looking up to the sun in the clear blue sky. Nuances of rose echo a soft sunset.
