Minimalisma believes in respecting natural materials and the people making them, they prioritize producing goods at their origins and good working conditions. They use all eco-friendly materials. 100% of the collection is made of natural fibers: silk, wool, alpaca and organic cotton. All cotton is organic and GOTS and Oeko-Tex certified. The wool is sourced in Australia and mulesing free. The alpaca is from Peru and is GOTS, Oeko-Tex and Alpaca origin certified. They use non-toxic dyes and are compliant with the EU Standards. The owner personally visits and inspects some of the factories regularly and has a long standing relationship with all the factories. Most have either GOTS or BSCI certification and some are audited by third parties to ensure work place safety.
The minimize waste by offering 80% of the collection year round and offering mostly unisex styles. They do use individual polybags to ship to both direct and wholesale customers, but they are recyclable. They reuse the carton boxes they receive from suppliers and also use recycled paper for their hang tags.
