Designed to be comfortable and playful, there’s nothing too delicate in the designs and they are meant for everyday wear. They use mostly eco-friendly materials, with 90% of the collection made of natural fibers, such as lyocell and organic cotton. The organic cotton is GOTS certified. All materials are Oeko-Tex certified and garment dyed. Garments are also analyzed by AITEX, who certifies their production and that they are chromium and nickel free. On average, 90-93% of production is made locally, with the rest being made in China. The factories they work with have Oeko-Tex certification and are required to comply with a Code of Conduct.
The Bobo Choses' team are located in Barcelona and produces almost all of the collection locally, reducing their carbon footprint. They launched the Iconic Collection in 2021 to recycle overstock and fabric scraps. They ship in 100% kraft paper bags and the ink and glues used are water based. Although they do use individual polybags to ship to both direct and wholesale customers, they are biodegradable. Bobo Choses answered all our questions about company practices and were easy to reach for follow up.
