Noble Adds Sweat Sets to their Growing Label
In the mood for cozy twinning? Noble Carriage, a baby & kids shop well known as a champion for ethical organic brands has expanded their own NOBLE brand collection again, this time with GOTS organic certified kids & adult matching sweat sets.
When Jen Hartford originally launched Noble Carriage in 2014 she had planned on producing her own line of organic children’s clothing. Discouraged by meetings with some of the local factories in Los Angeles at the time, she ended up connecting with other eco-minded companies and instead opened her shop, focused on selling transparent and sustainable brands.
Fast forward to 2018 and the first pieces of her own brand Noble came out. A footless waffle sleeper in GOTS certified organic pima cotton, made locally in San Diego in 4 plant dyed colors. Just 6 months later the organic canvas Utility Suit came out. Both items were instant hits, with people drawn to the rich early colors like indigo, rust and forest green. Once the popular styles sold out, a waiting list ensued for the next release, delayed more than a season while Noble switched factories.
During that time, Hartford moved production to a GOTS certified factory in Peru, with a sustainable supply chain. With increased demand for more, the utility collection has expanded to include a chore pant, jacket and tank version and a two piece jammie set was added to the waffles. In 2020, the first set of waffles for adults was made as well.
That takes us to the introduction of the newest in the Noble collection, the sweat suits, a sweatshirt and jogger made with 100% GOTS certified organic Tangius cotton. With a soft fleece interior, it’s the ultimate in cozy and is pre-washed and pre-shrunk. They are eco-friendly dyed and can be machine washed and air dried.
“Inspired by a vintage baby raglan sweatshirt passed down from grandma.”
The sweatshirt is meant to be fitted with a chunky ribbed collar, according to Noble it’s, “Inspired by a vintage baby raglan sweatshirt passed down from grandma.” The pant is made for extended wear with a high waist, longer tapered leg and an extra placket at the back for extra room. With 4 colors, the kids set is $100 ($50 each top and bottom) and the matching adult sets are $178 ($89 each). noblecarriage.com
